Marshal

Marshal Gender: Male
Personality: Smug
Species: Squirrel
Birthday: September 29th
Zodiac sign: Libra
Initial phrase: sulky
Initial clothing: Denim Jacket, Puffy Vest
Home request: A world-famous cafe
Skill: Mental math

Marshal tops the popularity charts in Animal Crossing for a good five years now. He is a smug squirrel Villager who appears to be extremely popular among players for no apparent reason. It seems that the combination of cute appearance and smug personality just happens to appeal to players. His name is most likely a reference to his appearance which somewhat resembles a marshmallow, or some say, that his facial expression says he is into serious business - one suitable enough to be a city marshal or such.

Like all smug villagers,  he is very polite, kind and acts like a real gentleman. He gets along easily with most other villagers. Smug villagers have the most "well-rounded" personality type, which seems like a mixture of all other types. Marshal tends to conflict with cranky villagers.

In New Horizons, Marshal lives in a cafe-themed house, with a bunch of Cafe series items including a coffee grinder, coffee cup, coffee machine, cream and sugar, and a Moka pot. His house is in a classic/vintage style and has a piano in the top-left corner.
