Unique Quivers in PoE

Unique Quivers in PoE

Complete List of all Unique Quivers in Path of Exile

Unique Quivers in PoE
Wiki page

Updated for Patch 3.22

There are not that many unique Quivers in Path of Exile. Most of them are not very good for a generic Attack-based Bow build, but there's a niche for nearly every single one of these Quivers. Rare Quivers are often supposed to provide players with Maximum Life and added Attack Damage with their Prefixes, and with Suffixes - an additional Arrow, increased Attack Speed, Resistances, Accuracy, Critical Strike mods for a Hit-based build, and DoT Multiplier for a DoT build. It's a well-established and very simple method of upgrading your build, and finding a unique Quiver that can compete with such a Rare one may be very hard. The closest to mimicking a good Rare Quiver in a generic Elemental Damage Attack Bow build is the Voidfletcher, which a lot of players deem too weak nowadays anyway. Only Spell-casters may find the pool of available mods on Rare Quivers underwhelming, so they are more likely to use these Unique Quivers instead.

The list we have composed should inspire you, give you an idea of how a given Quiver can be used, or explain the inner workings of the item so that you can better understand it and implement it into your own builds if you find it good enough. The list contains all the available Quivers in the game.

Quivers
CragheadCraghead - It requires only level 4 so it's not completely useless. You can use it for leveling during Act 1 on any Bow build that deals Physical or Converted Physical Damage. Discard it later, Stuns and Bows don't mix very well.

Required Level: 4

Adds 1 to 4 Physical Damage to Attacks
(20-25)% reduced Enemy Stun Threshold
25% reduced Projectile Speed
(140-200)% increased Stun Duration on Enemies
6 to 10 Added Physical Damage with Bow Attacks

Hyrri's BiteHyrri's Bite - Excellent for leveling due to the extra Attributes which you will probably need anyway, and a low level requirement. Its offensive stats are minor but the small amount of Life on Hit is a great help early on.

Required Level: 14

Gain (6-8) Life per Enemy Hit with Attacks
+(15-25) to Strength
+(35-45) to Dexterity
+(15-25) to Intelligence
Adds 10 to 20 Cold Damage to Attacks
(7-10)% increased Attack Speed
Gain (2-3) Life per Enemy Hit with Attacks
10% increased Area of Effect

Asphyxia's WrathAsphyxia's Wrath - Its most notable feature is the extra 20% of Physical Damage as Extra Cold Damage. It's a lot, thus you may see it being used in Phys to Cold Conversion builds where the main damaging ability is a Skill with high base Physical Damage. We have used it in Blade Vortex Occultist, so to boost the Spell's Damage.

Required Level: 20

(20-30)% increased Projectile Speed
Grants Level 5 Frostbite Skill
(8-12)% increased Attack Speed
+(30-40)% to Cold Resistance
(30-40)% increased Chill Duration on Enemies
Gain 20% of Physical Damage as Extra Cold Damage
(7-10)% chance to Freeze
Hexes Transfer to all Enemies within 3 metres when Hexed Enemy dies

RearguardRearguard - It grants you Block Chance, which is extremely rare to have while wielding a Bow. Because of that, it is used in combination with Widowhail to enhance this quality and be more likely to completely negate any Hit Damage be it from Spells or Attacks. Such a build will deal little to no damage, so it's used in one specific scenario where it doesn't matter that much - in Halls of the Dead. It's not used in any other build outside of this narrow niche.

Required Level: 31

Adds (7-9) to (13-16) Physical Damage to Attacks
(20-24)% Chance to Block Attack Damage
(12-15)% Chance to Block Spell Damage
+(400-450) to Armour
(20-30)% increased Projectile Speed
50% increased Stun and Block Recovery
(15-20)% increased Projectile Damage

DrillneckDrillneck - It deals increased Damage to enemies you Pierce with your Bow Attacks. It's not very good in any end-game build as the damage bonus is not that high. It is however good during the leveling phase - it has Maximum Life, Attack Speed, and Added Damage. It's often all you need from a Quiver.

Required Level: 36

Arrows Pierce an additional Target
(8-12)% increased Attack Speed
+350 to Evasion Rating
+(40-50) to maximum Life
(10-14) to (19-24) Added Physical Damage with Bow Attacks
Arrows deal 50% increased Damage with Hits and Ailments to Targets they Pierce

SkirmishSkirmish - Its unique quality lets you summon one extra Attack Totem, which includes Ballistas. Because of that, some may use it in an Explosive Arrow Ballista Totem or Artillery Ballista Raider builds. It's not a great option by any means, a proper Rare Quiver is still better, but it's a cheap one. Good enough for leveling or as a budget option.

Required Level: 36

(20-30)% increased Global Accuracy Rating
+(15-25) to Intelligence
+(30-50) to maximum Mana
(20-30)% increased Mana Regeneration Rate
0.2% of Physical Attack Damage Leeched as Mana
Attack Skills have +1 to maximum number of Summoned Totems

BlackgleamBlackgleam - It has no use. Fire Conversion can be easily acquired from Gloves, passives, Avatar of Fire, and Watcher's Eye. Conversion is actually not needed in most generic Hit-based Bow builds as you source your damage from added Elemental Damage found on your Bow. Besides this Conversion, there's not much else.

Required Level: 45

Adds (12-15) to (24-27) Fire Damage to Attacks
10% increased Attack Speed
+(80-100) to Evasion Rating
+(10-30) to maximum Mana
50% of Physical Damage Converted to Fire Damage
5 to 10 Added Fire Damage with Bow Attacks

Maloney's MechanismMaloney's Mechanism - It grants Maximum Life, Blind on Hit, Attack Speed, and has 3 sockets where you can put Bow Skills to trigger every second. It's one of the most convenient ways to use utility Attacks such as Frenzy with Hextouch and Curse or PCoC. You can also use it to store and level up Gems by hiding it under your weapon swap key. It suits a lot of Bow builds, but a Rare Quiver is better in terms of DPS.

Required Level: 45

Has 1 Socket
Has 2 Sockets
Trigger a Socketed Bow Skill when you Attack with a Bow, with a 1 second Cooldown
(7-12)% increased Attack Speed
+(50-70) to maximum Life
5% chance to Blind Enemies on Hit with Attacks

Maloney's MechanismReplica Maloney's Mechanism - The only difference between this and the original Maloney's Mechanism, is that this Quiver activates your socketed Bow Skills when you use a Spell - not an Attack. It is used in completely different builds because of that. This Reaper Juggernaut is the most popular example of such a build.

Required Level: 45

Has 1 Socket
Has 2 Sockets
Trigger a Socketed Bow Skill when you Cast a Spell while wielding a Bow, with a 1 second Cooldown
(7-12)% increased Attack Speed
+(50-70) to maximum Life
5% chance to Blind Enemies on Hit with Attacks

Saemus' GiftSaemus' Gift - It's not a good Quiver. It's supposed to fit in an Int-stacker archetype, but it's simply not popular among Bow builds. It also has to compete with The Poised Prism.

Required Level: 45

(20-30)% increased Projectile Speed
+(30-40) to Dexterity
(8-12)% increased Cast Speed
+(30-60) to maximum Life
+(20-40)% to Lightning Resistance
20% chance to Avoid being Stunned
1% increased Lightning Damage per 10 Intelligence

SteelwormSteelworm - One of the very few sources of the Call of Steel Skills. It damages Impaled enemies so it naturally requires a high, preferably 100% Impale Chance. While this Skill is good for the Steel Skills where it is built-in, most Bow builds don't need it. It's also very hard for them to get Impale Chance.

Required Level: 52

(8-10)% increased Attack Speed
Grants Call of Steel
(30-60)% increased Evasion Rating and Armour
Deal no Non-Physical Damage
Attacks that Fire Projectiles Consume up to 1 additional Steel Shard
Skills Fire 3 additional Projectiles for 4 seconds after you consume a total of 12 Steel Shards

Maloney's NightfallMaloney's Nightfall - It's a quite basic Quiver, but a decent one for a build with high base Physical Damage. The extra Chaos Damage bonus is not limited to Attacks so it can be used in, for example, a Blade Vortex Poison build. Be sure you have a chance of Blining enemies on Hit.

Required Level: 55

Gain (10-15)% of Physical Damage as Extra Chaos Damage
10% increased Attack Speed
+(50-70) to maximum Life
+(12-16)% to Chaos Resistance
(8-10) to (14-16) Added Physical Damage with Bow Attacks
25% chance to create a Smoke Cloud when Hit
(40-60)% increased Damage with Hits and Ailments against Blinded Enemies

Ahuana's BiteAhuana's Bite - It basically grants your character the Bonechill effect for all its damage. It also adds Cold Damage and enhances the Chill Effect you cause. You may find it good in a purely Cold Damage Ice Shot Deadeye build, but most such builds still tend to use a Rare Quiver. The Bonechill effect can be applied with Skitterbots or a proper Asenath's Mark setup.

Required Level: 56

Gain (6-8) Life per Enemy Hit with Attacks
Adds (30-40) to (60-70) Cold Damage to Attacks
+(20-30)% to Cold Resistance
Enemies Chilled by your Hits have Damage taken increased by Chill Effect
Chill Enemies as though dealing (60-100)% more Damage

Rigwald's QuillsRigwald's Quills - Not a good Quiver. The Arrow Forking is the only notable virtue of this Quiver, and it is often not needed - Deadeye Builds have excellent clear speed with their Ascendancy passives. The reduction in Projectile Speed is usually debilitating, and so is -10% to Fire Resistance. It's an outdated item.

Required Level: 56

(20-30)% increased Global Accuracy Rating
-10% to Fire Resistance
+(20-30)% to Lightning Resistance
Gain 7 Life per Enemy Hit with Attacks
20% reduced Projectile Speed
(30-50)% increased Projectile Damage
Arrows Fork

The Fracturing SpinnerThe Fracturing Spinner - This quiver grants no Attack Speed or Maximum Life making it already quite bad. It adds Some Fire/Cold Damage and Resistances, but most notably - the Harbinger of Direction. Every 6 seconds, it gives you one random buff that would improve your clear speed. These are extra Pierce, Chain, Fork, or Projectile. You shouldn't struggle with clear speed so much that you would need this Quiver.

Required Level: 60

Adds (7-9) to (13-16) Physical Damage to Attacks
Grants Summon Harbinger of Directions Skill
+(30-50) to Strength and Dexterity
Adds (19-22) to (30-35) Fire Damage to Spells and Attacks
Adds (19-22) to (30-35) Cold Damage to Spells and Attacks
+(15-25)% to Fire and Cold Resistances

The Shattered DivinityThe Shattered Divinity - It's an upgraded version of The Fracturing Spinner. The Harbinger it summons is better, its buffs are twice as effective. Unfortunately, due to its unpredictability and the abundance of other tools that would increase your clear speed, it is still not good enough for most builds.

Required Level: 60

Adds (7-9) to (13-16) Physical Damage to Attacks
Grants Summon Greater Harbinger of Directions Skill
+(30-50) to Strength and Dexterity
Adds (19-22) to (30-35) Fire Damage to Spells and Attacks
Adds (19-22) to (30-35) Cold Damage to Spells and Attacks
+(15-25)% to Fire and Cold Resistances

Scorpion's CallScorpion's Call - It's bad. Its damage and Life Regeneration bonuses while in Blood Stances are underwhelming. The extra AoE and Attack Speed may be great in a Toxic Rain build, but most players tend to use a good Rare Quiver there instead.

Required Level: 61

Adds (12-15) to (24-27) Physical Damage to Attacks
+(20-40) to Dexterity
(150-200) Life Regenerated per Second while in Blood Stance
(40-60)% increased Projectile Damage while in Blood Stance
+(700-1000) to Evasion Rating while in Sand Stance
(20-30)% increased Area of Effect while in Sand Stance
(25-30)% increased Attack Speed if you've changed Stance Recently

Soul StrikeSoul Strike - Soul Strike is to be used in a build that requires a much faster start of Energy Shield Recharge. It may be great in a build with Eldritch Battery. the extra Maximum Energy Shield would be useful to cast a Blessing Aura, and the faster start of Recharge is good in areas with DoT ground effect or if you have low Evasion. It's the only use for this Quiver, it lacks a of features like Maximum Life or more pronounced damage modifiers.

Required Level: 64

(20-30)% increased Critical Strike Chance with Bows
+30 to Dexterity
Adds (13-18) to (26-32) Chaos Damage to Attacks
(8-12)% increased Attack Speed
+(100-120) to maximum Energy Shield
80% faster start of Energy Shield Recharge
40% reduced Energy Shield Recharge Rate

Soul StrikeReplica Soul Strike - The 80% reduced Maximum Recovery per Life Leech is debilitating unless you can generate a lot of Leech instances (you have high Attack Speed). In turn, it makes you Leech Life faster. It's not very useful as most Bow builds have good Life Recovery already (for example, with Leech mastery for instant Leech or a Life Flask) and they don't get hit often due to high Evasion, so they don't need to Leech at all.

Required Level: 64

(20-30)% increased Critical Strike Chance with Bows
+30 to Dexterity
Adds (13-18) to (26-32) Physical Damage to Attacks
(8-12)% increased Attack Speed
+(60-80) to maximum Life
80% reduced Maximum Recovery per Life Leech
40% increased Maximum total Life Recovery per second from Leech

The Poised PrismThe Poised Prism - It's good on Attribute-stacking characters, such as in this Shrapnel Ballista Hierophant or Siege Ballista Hierophant builds. It can be great with Widowhail Bow too. It simply adds Damage per Attribute, which is good in builds where these Attributes have some other positive effects on you. Such builds are usually very expensive.

Required Level: 66

(20-30)% increased Elemental Damage with Attack Skills
+(15-25)% to Fire Resistance
+(15-25)% to Cold Resistance
+(15-25)% to Lightning Resistance
Adds 1 to 2 Cold Damage to Attacks per 10 Dexterity
Adds 1 to 2 Fire Damage to Attacks per 10 Strength
Adds 0 to 3 Lightning Damage to Attacks per 10 Intelligence

VoidfletcherVoidfletcher - Void Shot is a trigger Attack so it's good in combination with a Bow with high flat damage, making it suitable for most Attack-based Bow builds. It's a damage boost that's especially potent if you stop shooting for a while to accumulate more Charges. It may be the case in most boss battles where you have to stop firing and dodge, or where bosses have invulnerability phases. Most builds will still prefer a good Rare Quiver, but it's a great budget option for any Elemental Damage (or Cold Damage) build.

Required Level: 40

(20-30)% increased Elemental Damage with Attack Skills
Consumes a Void Charge to Trigger Level 20 Void Shot when you fire Arrows with a Non-Triggered Skill
Adds (30-40) to (80-100) Cold Damage to Attacks
+(80-120) to maximum Energy Shield
+(20-30)% to Cold Resistance
Gain (20-40) Mana per Enemy Killed
30% increased Projectile Speed
5 Maximum Void Charges
Gain a Void Charge every 0.5 seconds
