This His Scattering Calamity Titan build abuses reduced Skill Effect Duration to turn one of the strangest spells in PoE2 into a lightning-fast machine gun. Thanks to Titan’s Hulking Form, the Wellsprites are released almost instantly, while massive chain and projectile scaling lets every cast tear through entire packs. It’s an unusual take on a Titan that plays more like a spellcaster.
The core loop is simple: use His Scattering Calamity to stack Wellsprites, then let them fire almost immediately as you move through the map. With enough reduced duration, the skill stops feeling like a delayed spell and starts behaving like a rapid-fire projectile attack. Add Cast on Critical and supporting spells, and the screen quickly fills with lightning and explosions.
Defensively, the build takes advantage of the Titan’s naturally strong scaling while investing heavily into Mana and Energy Shield. We lean into Mind Over Matter, turning Mana into both a powerful offensive stat and an additional layer of survivability. It’s not the traditional Titan's way of building, but once the setup comes together, it combines excellent damage with surprisingly solid defenses.
The build is expensive to start and requires good The Unborn Lich staff and setuping a bit of our stats. As you upgrade your Mana pool, stack more reduced Skill Effect Duration and improve your Critical setup His Scattering Calamity Titan transforms into an absurdly fast endgame caster, deleting packs before the Wellsprites even have time to settle.

1. Gameplay
You move through the map while repeatedly casting His Scattering Calamity, quickly filling your stack of Wellsprites. Thanks to the massive Skill Effect Duration reduction from the Titan setup, the Wellsprites launch almost immediately, automatically seeking enemies and chaining through nearby packs.
For bosses, the same mechanic becomes even more powerful. You keep casting His Scattering Calamity to maintain a constant stream of Wellsprites, with each projectile benefiting from the skill’s increasing damage for consecutive launches. The projectiles automatically prioritise your target so you can focus almost entirely on positioning while the build does the damage.

3. Leveling tips
You can level this build smoothly with Ember Fusillade from the level 5, making the transition into the final setup much easier. The skill provides strong and reliable damage while you progress through the campaign, and the support setup scales naturally with the fire damage you are already building.
Once you enter maps and have access to The Unborn Lich, your key gems and the Titan ascendancy interactions, you can safely swap into the final His Scattering Calamity setup.

6. Gear Setup
This build is a Mana and Crit scaling caster, so our main goal is to stack as much Mana, Critical Strike Chance and Damage as possible. We also need capped Elemental Resistances, and enough Spirit to support our persistent skills. Energy Shield is especially valuable when using Eldritch Battery, as it can be converted into additional Mana and further scales both our damage and effective survivability.
