Skill Trees

The Multi Shot Amazon can level through the Bow tree from early on, reaching its full power once Multiple Shot, Penetrate, and enough Pierce are established. Early progression is usually smoother with simpler Bow attacks and whatever high-Damage Weapon is available, then Multiple Shot gradually becomes the main clearing Skill as its projectile count, Attack Rating, and physical scaling improve.

After transitioning into the final setup, prioritize Multiple Shot and Penetrate first. Multiple Shot provides the Build's screen-wide clear, while Penetrate is one of the most valuable supporting Skills because reliable hit chance is essential for a physical Bowazon. Invest into Pierce alongside them until you can reach 100% total Pierce with gear and +Skills, then continue developing Critical Strike for stronger physical Damage.

Once the offensive core is established, the remaining Points become much more flexible. Our recommended setup invests into Valkyrie for a durable frontline that keeps enemies occupied while you position for clean Multi Shot volleys. Dodge, Avoid, and Evade are also worth taking early for efficient defensive value, with additional Points available if you want a safer Mapping setup.

Guided Arrow can remain as a low-investment single-target option, while Magic Arrow is useful against Physical Immunes. More aggressive versions can reduce Valkyrie investment and commit more heavily to the Amazon's avoidance Skills.

Gear

A high-end Rare or Crafted Amazon Bow is the ultimate Weapon for the Multi Shot Amazon, especially when built in a strong base such as a Grand Matron Bow and rolled with very high Enhanced Damage, Increased Attack Speed, Deadly Strike, and useful Amazon Skill modifiers. Windforce is the strongest readily available Unique alternative and remains an excellent endgame Weapon when corrupted for Enhanced Damage, IAS, or additional sockets. Buriza-Do Kyanon provides a much cheaper Crossbow route and can comfortably carry the Build through Mapping while you work toward a premium Bow.

For Arrows, Doom's Finger are an excellent ready-made option for a physical Bow setup. High-end Rare or Crafted Arrows can become considerably stronger when they combine Enhanced Damage, Increased Attack Speed, Deadly Strike, Maximum Damage, and Pierce. Crossbow versions should instead look for strong Rare/Crafted Bolts, with Shatterhead remaining a useful Unique option for Buriza setups.

Giant Skull is one of the strongest Helmets for an aggressive physical setup, offering excellent Damage scaling together with sockets that can hold Enhanced Damage and IAS Jewels. Veil of Steel provides a more defensive high-end alternative with strong Attributes and Resistances, while Valkyrie Wing is a very good transitional option that helps with Skills, movement, and general Bowazon progression.

For Body Armour, Tyrael's Might is the premium endgame choice thanks to its combination of physical Damage, mobility, and strong defensive utility. Fortitude is the most practical alternative and provides enough Enhanced Damage to make even a moderately geared Multi Shot Amazon perform well in Maps. A strong Rare Armour with high Enhanced Damage and multiple sockets can also compete at the top end when filled with powerful Damage Jewels.

Laying of Hands is an excellent Gloves choice for general Mapping, especially against Demon-heavy content, while its Increased Attack Speed helps complete the required breakpoint. Strong Rare or Crafted Amazon Gloves with IAS, Passive or Bow Skills, Life or Mana Leech, Attributes, and Resistances offer more flexibility and can become the better option when your remaining gear already provides enough Damage.

For the Belt, Razortail is extremely valuable until the Build reaches 100% Pierce, making it one of the best progression and mid-game choices. Once Pierce is fully covered through Skills, Arrows, and other equipment, Nosferatu's Coil becomes the stronger offensive option thanks to Increased Attack Speed, sustain, and additional physical utility.

War Traveler is one of the best Boots for Multi Shot because its added flat Damage is multiplied by the Build's enormous physical scaling and applied across every successful arrow hit. Strong Rare Boots with Faster Run/Walk, Faster Hit Recovery, Resistances, and Attributes are the main alternative for builds that need additional defensive coverage.

Highlord's Wrath is the strongest general Amulet for a high-end Multi Shot setup, combining Increased Attack Speed with a large amount of Deadly Strike as character level increases. Atma's Scarab remains a useful alternative when you specifically want access to Amplify Damage, although Multi Shot does not trigger on-striking effects as consistently across its full arrow spread as Strafe, making Highlord's more dependable for pure Damage scaling.

For Rings, Bul-Kathos' Death Band is an exceptionally strong offensive option because Enhanced Damage and Attack Rating directly support the Build while Physical Damage Reduction adds useful survivability. Raven Frost remains one of the easiest ways to obtain Cannot Be Frozen together with Dexterity and Attack Rating. A strong Rare or Crafted Ring with Life or Mana Leech, Attack Rating, Attributes, and Resistances is ideal when you need to solve sustain or defensive requirements.

Charms

For the Multi Shot Amazon, Maximum Damage / Attack Rating Charms are the main offensive choice because the Build scales primarily from physical Weapon Damage, Dexterity, Critical Strike, and Deadly Strike rather than additional Skill Levels. An Amazon Hellfire Torch and Annihilus should form the foundation of the inventory, followed by strong Damage Charms with Maximum Damage, Attack Rating, and ideally Life. Recent Multi Shot players still consistently prioritize Max Damage/AR Charms for endgame physical scaling. 

Use the remaining slots for Life, Resistances, Faster Hit Recovery, and additional Attack Rating. Passive and Magic Skill Grand Charms can be useful while gearing or in more Valkyrie-heavy setups, but a dedicated physical Multi Shot build generally gains more from direct Damage Charms once its core passives are already established.

Mercenary

An Act 1 Vigor Mercenary with Faith is one of the strongest support choices for the Multi Shot Amazon. Vigor improves movement between packs, while Faith provides Fanaticism, helping the Amazon reach a much faster attack breakpoint and increasing overall physical Damage. For Windforce and other slower Bow bases, this support is especially important and is commonly treated as one of the key pieces that makes the endgame setup feel complete.
